Lotta's fountain, where we commemorate the Quake every April 18th at 5:12 AM. The survivors always said that this was a key spot for gathering information in the days following the quake, but historians now suspect that the old codgers just made that up so they would have an excuse to drink Bloody Marys in front of the Palace Hotel.
