a new mascot

well, i'm going to irvine in august to do a presentation on my content manager at this conference for all us programmers who work for the 9 campus uc system.
first thing i think is for my presentation i need a mascot.
a superhero type mascot to represent the powerful new content manager. ta daaaah!
above is a rough sketch.
you know i can draw feet, but i never learned how to draw capes.
always comes out looking like a puddle or a pacific atoll or something.
well, i got a month. there must be an online tutorial i can take.
