Pink house politics

I just want to make it clear that the Pink House's endorsement of WCCUSD School Board candidate Madeline Kronenberg is not the result of any kind of backroom deal.

Heck, we don't even have a backroom. Are you kidding? Look at this place. We barely have a dining area.

So when the politicians come knocking, we make all our deals right there on the front porch.

This dude come by last night. He says "I'm Charles Ramsey. I'm on the School Board, and I hope that I can count on your support…"

And I said "Oh man, I am so glad I finally met somebody who's on the School Board. I never know who to vote for! This is great. Charles Ramsey. Let me write that down. I'll make sure to vote for you. You're not a conspiracy theorist or part of some mind-control cult are you?"

So no. Turns out he's a perfectly normal guy and belongs to the Rotary Club and everything, and he introduces me to this nice lady, Madeline Kronenberg, who's also running for School Board.

And they asked me would I put a sign out front of the house, which sounded perfectly reasonable.

And I was out there just now trying to put the sign in the ground. Hoo boy! That ground is like concrete this time of year!

I think if I ever run for office in this town I'm just going to ask my supporters to wear sandwich boards.
