Untamed Tahoe

I'd never driven to Tahoe on 50 before. You get a beautiful view of the lake on the way down the mountain.

Good thing too, because that's about as much Lake Tahoe as Big Daddy got to see this trip.

We passed the big casinos at South Shore right there at the state line, and I said to Tony, "Hey, you want me to pull over at Zephyr Cove, and we can see the lake?"

He said, "I can see the lake. I can see it just fine. It's right there. How long till we get to the Nugget?"

Twenty-five minutes later we were in a 24-hour coffee shop in Carson City playing Keno.

I did manage to get some good scenic shots while we were driving around, though. Lord, those rest stops out there have some great views!
