shhhhhh!
my nephew is downstairs snoozing away.
we had a big day yesterday. went to traintown, a quaint little homespun amusement park, just a few blocks from the town square in sonoma.
let me explain what i mean by "homespun." you ride on this little scale train through woodsy areas dotted with little mini frontier settlements, and at one point you pass a chatty cathy in a calico dress and a ma kettle hair 'do waving at you from the front porch of a "log cabin" made out of 1/4" plywood.
he loved it!
and it's a great place to burn off little 3-year-old-kid energy. plus a lot of great train-themed show tunes on the p.a. system, most notably judy garland's lively version of "the atchison topeka and the santa fe."
